SPF Precut Lumber operates a lumber remanufacturing facility that produces and exports precut pallet stock and Canadian softwood with a strong focus on expansion into new markets in the Middle East, and the Far East. Already the biggest exporter of pallet stock in Western Canada, SPF Precut Lumber is developing a five-year plan for future growth.


Finalist: Kitwanga Mills Ltd.

Kitwanga Mills Ltd. exports treated and untreated British Columbia forest products including hemlock, spruce, pine, fir, and cedar. While working closely with 7 different local First Nations bands, Kitwanga shares the value that the riches of the forests can continue to be enjoyed by present and future generations only if all stakeholders are committed to the principles of sustainability and integrated management.
