Domtar Corp. is the largest integrated manufacturer and marketer of uncoated freesheet paper in North America and the second largest in the world based on production capacity. Through its operations, the company addresses all four elements needed to sustain life - air, water, fire, and earth; offering sustainable solutions for different areas of production.


Finalist: FLEXSTAR Packaging, Inc.

FLEXSTAR Packaging Inc. manufactures custom printed, laminated, flexible roll-stock and specialty films for the consumer and industrial markets in North America. With sustainability at the forefront of its business operations, FLEXSTAR initiated the '7 R's of Packaging at FLEXSTAR' and serve as an active member of the Plastic Processors Environmental Association of BC, CFECA and the Packaging Association of Canada.


Finalist: West Coast Log Homes

West Coast Log Homes builds custom log homes throughout the world by blending old-world craftsmanship with the natural beauty of Western Red Cedar in countries including Germany, Belgium, Japan, Chile, and the United States. Ecologically aware, the company is conscious of environmental friendly disposal of wastes; and actively recycles logs for reuse by donating it for art work such as carving, gardening or firewood.
