IMW Industries Ltd.
IMW Industries Ltd. won the B.C. Exporter of the Year Award as well as the Manufactured Products Award. IMW designs and manufactures high-pressure gas compressors and compressed gas fuelling systems for vehicles and industry, contributing to the offset of liquid fossil fuels and the significant reduction of greenhouse gases (GHG). IMW operates in over 26 countries and recognized as the winner of the Manufactured Products category at both the 2004 and 2007 BC Export Awards
Finalist: Jastram Engineering Ltd.
Jastram Engineering Ltd. designs and manufactures digital and hydraulic steering systems, steering controls and motor starters with alarms for simple manual steering to digitally controlled twin independent with DPS interface. Systems are supplied with high quality components and are carefully matched by design to ensure long life and exceptional performance in all operating conditions. Jastram exports to approximately 25 countries from their local premises.
Finalist: Unifiller Systems Inc.
Unifiller Systems Inc. designs and manufactures bakery depositors, food service fillers, pumps and automated production lines for the bakery and food service industry. Unifiller continues to grow as an international company, now exporting to 73 countries world wide. Unifiller offers the largest number of standard attachments and depositing heads in the industry and was recognized as the 2008 Business of the Year by Delta Chamber of Commerce at the Hats off to Excellence Gala Awards.
