Punjab Milk Foods Inc. is the largest federally approved dairy in North America specializing in the manufacturing of East Indian dairy based ingredients and end products including appetizers, entrees and desserts. The products are manufactured under the "NANAK" brand name and are sold all over North America and distributed through over twenty-five hundred outlets. Punjap Milk Foods was recognized as the finalist of the New Exporter category at the 2003 BC Export Awards.
Finalist: Pacific BioEnergy Corporation
Pacific BioEnergy Corporation is a leading manufacturer and internationally recognized supplier of wood pellet biomass fuel to industrial purchasers worldwide. The company has access to one of the largest fibre supply sources in the world and has been exporting bulk quantities of high quality wood pellets to large scale customers since 1998. They provide carbon neutral energy solutions that are friendly to the environment, cost effective, and sustainable.
Finalist: Absorbent Products Ltd.
Absorbent Products Ltd. is a mine operator and a producer of over 140 branded and private label pet, agricultural and industrial products. It is the sole producer of diatomaceous earth in Canada and one of two producers of bentonite in Canada. Absorbent uses these minerals to produce and sell products, including cat litter, industrial absorbents, agricultural goods and bulk products that are sold in Canada, the United States, Europe and the Middle East.
