Clevest Solutions builds high-tech software solutions for the utilities industry. Their software connects the back office of a utility company to the field workers - allowing real-time, two-way communication to PDAs or laptops. In 2009, Clevest Solutions was named the fastest growing private company in BC by BIV's Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies. Clevest Solutions software is currently being used in the deployment of over 10 million Smart Meters in the US.
Finalist: Greenlight Innovation
Greenlight Innovation manufactures the world's most sophisticated fuel cell testing equipment and electric vehicle battery testing equipment. They have been manufacturing in Vancouver for 17 years and have delivered approximately 550 test units to fuel cell and electric vehicle developers around the world. Greenlight exports to 15 countries world wide and their units are used in the research, automotive and energy sectors.
